MS. Anna's 4K

Welcome to Waunakee 4K!

 

My name is Anna Ripp, and this will be my third year teaching 4K at Adventures. I began my teaching experience in Illinois and then taught 4K in Middleton for two years. I currently live on a dairy farm in Dane. My husband and I have a one year old son named Jase. When I am not teaching you can find me at my cottage on Lake Wisconsin, boating, playing volleyball, or at a truck and tractor pull! 

 

 

This year I will be using the Creative Curriculum provided by the district as well as student interest and current events to prepare your child for Kindergarten. I strive to have a safe, fun, learning enviroment for all of my students. As well as focusing on their ademic achievements, I will also be piloting a social emotional curriculum this year. My goal is to fully prepare them for their tansition into Kindergarten. In the classroom you will see a mix of guided play, whole group, and small group instruction. You may also see my assistant in the room each day, as well as Ms. Carrie from Early Childhood. 

 

 

This year I am teaching both AM and PM 4K. With many of my students being in wrap around care, I wanted another way to connect to my families. Throughout the year I will be using this website to keep up-to-date on all of our classroom news! You can find copies of everything you need to know about 4K as well as links to the Waunakee home page. I will be adding newsletters, upcoming events, and pictures of our little learners hard at work!
