Miss Anna's 4K AM Daily Schedule
7:35-7:45 Arrival: Students are greeted, put their belongings away and sign in.
7:45-7:55 Morning Meeting: We read our morning message, share news, and discuss the day’s activities. We also explore social/emotional topics at this time.
7:55-8:05 Read Aloud: During this time we read a content related story and explore concepts of print.
8:05-8:15 Project Time: A few days a week we will do a group activity that supports our weekly goals.
8:15-9:15 Choice Time in Interest Areas and Small Group: The students can choose to explore blocks, dramatic play, toys & games, art, library, discovery, computer, sensory, writing and special activities. During this time students may also choose to participate in small group projects.
9:15-9:20 Clean-up: The students will work together to clean-up the room.
9:20-9:30 Group Activity: We investigate a specific content area by playing games and using our social skills.
9:30-9:50 Hand-Washing, Snack & Conversation: During this time we share a snack and practice our social skills.
9:50-10:00 Calendar and Jobs: During this time we talk about the calendar, weather, and participate in classroom jobs.
10:00-10:20 Outdoor or Large Motor Play
10:20 Farewell: We share our thoughts about the day and gather our things to go home.

12:10-12:20 Read Aloud: During this time we read a content related story and explore concepts of print.
